In view of “Good Health and Well-fare” and “High-quality Education” which are two sustainable development goals of the United Nations, Shanghai Ribo Fashion Group insists to the principle of “coordination with public benefits and trans-industrial innovation”, and offers financial, labor and material supports to social organizations. Shanghai Ribo Fashion Group has maintained a strategic partnership with Guangdong Rici Public Welfare Foundation since 2014 and provided multiple supports to public welfare programs around China.
Rici Foundation (“Guangdong Rici Public Welfare Foundation”) is a non-public foundation which is devoted to healthy development and happy life of adolescents and children.
Rici Foundation was registered in Department of Civil Affairs of Guangdong Province on December 31st, 2013 and it came formally into operation in 2014. It was titled the “Provincial AAA-level Social Organization of Guangdong Province” on July, 2017 and it was approved as a charity organization on December, 2017.
With the strong supports from Ribo Group, Rici Foundation carried out a series of projects devoted to improve psychological health and enhancing equality of education of disadvantaged children. Based on the theoretical foundations of “positive psychology”, “social feeling learning” and “social information processing”, Rici Foundation concentrates on design, operation and support to psychological programs, and commits to seek and promote the most effective mental education mode, finally realizing the goal of improving the overall social environment for healthy growth and happy life of adolescents and children.
This project holds winter camp and summer camp activities in rural areas by recruiting and energizing excellent student volunteers in the world, aiming to help rural children to form good learning and living habits through these short-period camp activities.
This project provides adolescents and children in primary schools and middle schools metal curriculums. Teachers are assigned to train self-cognitive ability, emotion management ability and interpersonal skills of pupils, and help each child to perceive love and supports, and train them into confident, happy, caring and intelligent people in future.
This project is devoted to help children in poverty-stricken areas to finish compulsory education of middle school and further studies in high school or vocational-technical schools.
This project is provide schools support system to professional, systematic, long-acting and overall mental health education as well as the happiness school cultural construction program, including teacher training, workshop of school managers, lectures to students’ parents, new class meeting and campus activities.
He is a famous scholar in the field of American social statistical method, a lecture professor of “Yangtze River Scholars” in Xi’an Jiaotong University, an academician of American Academy of Social Welfare and Social Working, the lifetime professor of Washington University in St Louis, an outstanding professor of Frank J Bruno, and a vice president responsible for international affairs of China.
He is a member of International Positive Psychology Association, an editor of Advances In Psychological Science, a professor from Zhejiang Normal University, the deputy dean and the academy leader of School of Teacher Education, and a doctoral supervisor. He has published many articles in foreign journals like SCI/SSCI and Chinese journals like CSSCI. Moreover, he has published many personal monographs and translations.
He is a PhD in economics, professor and head of Department of Social Work and Social Policy, Nankai University, a member of “Migrant Children and Leftover Children” Expert Committee of State Commission for Women and Children, and a visiting scholar of School of Social Welfare, University of California, Berkeley. He was enlisted into the “Talent Support Program in the New Century” of the Ministry of Education in 2010.
He is the compere of national-level topics related with housing, family stability and metal development of children and adolescents, deputy director of Social System Research Center of Washington University in St Louis, and an associate professor and doctoral supervisor from Brown School of Social Engineering, Washington University in St Louis.
